Getting Ready
Sarah spent the afternoon getting ready in one of French Leave Resort's beautiful beachside cottages. Soft natural light poured through the shutters while she shared quiet moments with her mother and closest friends. There was plenty of laughter, a few happy tears, and the kind of excitement that only comes with a wedding day.
She wore a timeless silk gown that moved beautifully in the ocean breeze—simple, elegant, and perfectly suited for a beachfront ceremony.
Meanwhile, Marcus was getting ready on another part of the property in a light linen suit, embracing the relaxed island atmosphere. He kept checking the handwritten vows tucked inside his jacket pocket—not because he had forgotten them, but because holding onto them helped calm his nerves. It was one of those authentic moments that didn't need direction, only a camera ready to preserve it.

The Ceremony
The ceremony began just before sunset, allowing the evening light to slowly transform the beach into a golden backdrop.
A simple aisle of white petals led to the shoreline as Sarah walked toward Marcus with her father by her side. Halfway down the aisle, Marcus could no longer hide his emotions. Watching him see Sarah for the first time was one of the most genuine moments of the day.

Surrounded by only their closest family and friends, they exchanged rings with the Atlantic Ocean stretching endlessly behind them before being pronounced husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of one of Eleuthera's greatest gifts—golden hour.
French Leave Beach offers some of the most beautiful evening light anywhere in the Bahamas. As the sun dipped lower, the sky shifted from warm gold to soft amber before settling into delicate shades of pink and rose.
We wandered a quiet stretch of beach just beyond the resort, where it felt as though we had the entire shoreline to ourselves.
There was no need for elaborate posing. Sarah's dress caught the breeze naturally, the waves rolled gently onto the shore, and the connection between them created every photograph we needed.
One of my favorite moments happened completely unexpectedly. Marcus playfully dipped Sarah, she burst into laughter, grabbed onto his jacket, and the two of them couldn't stop laughing. Those unscripted moments often become the photographs couples treasure the most.
